FSA: The Cover Up
Clive Briault's dismissal from the FSA.
Since SELCHA discovered Clive Briault's email to Coole & Haddock Solicitors, we have campaigned to Margaret Cole the newly appointed director of the Enforcement Division of the FSA for his dismissal. This happened in June 2008 in connection with the failure of Northern Rock.
There is something not quite right here.
Mr Briault was Managing Director of the Retail Market division of the FSA.
Northern Rock failed because of it wholesale policy not its retail policy.
